1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TermsBuilder, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TermsBuilder.

2. Description of Service

TermsBuilder generates customized legal documents through a questionnaire-based system. Our platform collects information about your business and uses that information to generate Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policies, and related legal documents tailored to your specific needs. The documents generated are templates designed to provide a starting point for your legal compliance. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney for your specific situation.

3. Account Registration

To use TermsBuilder, you must create an account using our authentication system. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Purchases and Payment

TermsBuilder offers the following purchase options.

• Terms Package costs $59 as a one-time payment
• Privacy Package costs $59 as a one-time payment and includes a Cookie Policy
• The document bundle with Terms Package, Privacy Package, and Cookie Policy costs $89 as a one-time payment
• Auto Updates costs $99 per year as a standalone annual product including Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and ongoing updates while active

The bundle currently saves $29 versus buying the two core documents separately.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. All sales are final. Due to the nature of digital document generation, we do not offer refunds once documents have been generated.

5. Document Ownership

Once your documents are generated, they are yours to use. You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the generated documents for your business. TermsBuilder retains no ownership rights to your generated documents. You may modify, publish, and distribute the documents as needed for your business operations.

6. Acceptable Use

When using TermsBuilder, you agree not to

• Resell, redistribute, or offer generated documents as part of a competing legal document generation service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying logic of our platform
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
• Use automated systems or bots to access the platform without our written permission
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures or access restrictions

7. Intellectual Property

The TermsBuilder platform, including but not limited to the questionnaire logic, template system, user interface, and underlying code, is proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform. The documents generated for your use are licensed to you as described in Section 5, but the system that creates them remains our exclusive property.

TermsBuilder is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The documents generated through our platform are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is formed by using TermsBuilder. We strongly recommend having any generated documents reviewed by a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction before implementation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TermsBuilder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to TermsBuilder in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new Last updated date. Your continued use of TermsBuilder after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
